We have a staff of over 400 working in our program areas and a twelve member volunteer Board of Directors that governs us.

History

In 1947 Mrs. Bernice Kussell, armed with hope and a belief in a better way of life for kids with developmental disabilities, opened her home to care for this underserved group of children. Over the past 60 years VSSHC has grown to serve over 350 people and employ more than 400.

President/CEO Cletus Thiebeau has over 20 years of experience in management and finance.

VSSHC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation which is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Valley is a $14 Million agency that runs a tight ship with 92% of that money going directly into client programs.
